COVID-19 VIRUS

STEPS WE ARE TAKING FOR OUR CUSTOMERS DURING COVID-19 OUTBREAK

Priority 1 Protection Customer,

Like you, we are keeping a close eye on the growing concerns with the COVID-19 virus. All of our team members are committed to making sure we provide the highest level of service during the current climate. This is especially true for our technicians
who will be in your home to ensure your alarm system is in an optimal working state.

A day of the scheduled service job, please expect a text from a Priority 1 Protection to let you know your technician is in route to your home.

If you can answer “YES” to any of the following questions, please reschedule your appointment by texting or calling 813-863-1154.

  • Has anyone in the household travelled abroad over the last 14 days?
  • Has anyone in the household been quarantined?
  • Over the last 14 days, has anyone in the household been in contact with anyone that has COVID-19?
  • Is there anyone in the home that is currently sick with fever (100 degrees Fahrenheit or above, coughing, sneezing, and respiratory issues)?

Below are the precautionary measures that our technicians follow, and will continue to follow, to ensure a healthy and clean environment for your service call.

Daily Health Monitoring

Our technicians are monitoring themselves throughout the day for any symptomatic signs of COVID-19, i.e., Fever, coughing, sneezing, and respiratory issues. If any of our technicians exhibit any signs of these signs, they will immediately take themselves off duty and pass the job to another technician or will work to have your job rescheduled for a later date.

Before Arrival

Technicians will call you prior to their arrival. Technicians will ask if anyone in your household has had flu-like symptoms in past four days. This is asked out of an abundance of caution for the health and safety of you and your family, as well as our technicians as we work together to avoid spreading germs or the virus.

Preparing for Your Service Call

We have always supplied our technicians with hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes, gloves and shoe covers. Due to the increased demand for these items, we are doing everything in our power to keep our technicians fully stocked to continue to provide Priority 1 Protection’s high standard of service.

While in Your Home

We have asked all technicians to maintain social distance from our customers, and to avoid shaking hands, to help keep everyone healthy. This is not meant to be rude or disrespectful, it is a simple step we can all take to help slow the spread of the virus. We are also asking all technicians to wipe down their work areas after arriving, and before leaving, your house.

We know that having technicians in your home during this ongoing public health crisis, could be a cause for concern. However, we are committed to providing a clean and safe working environment, as well as keeping you and your family protected. Our technicians will come prepared with the correct attire and precautionary equipment as recommended by the CDC, this will include protective footwear, gloves, and equipment to maintain cleanliness. The CDC is not recommending masks in their guidelines, and we have asked our technicians to follow this guidance to help reduce the shortage at hospitals and medical facilities.

We would like to thank you for your business and continued loyalty as our customers during the ever-changing times. We will continue to monitor the situation and give you updates as the need arises. Be safe.
